Wednesday October 29, 2014 - The National Alliance (TNA), whose leader is none other than President Uhuru Kenyatta, has relocated its headquarters next to State House in Nairobi from Hurlingham where it was situated close to Yaya Centre.
The relocation of TNA headquarters to the building just in front of State House got Kenyans talking with some reading mischief that perhaps the President and his party were planning to ‘die’ in power to ensure former Prime Minister Raila Odinga does not see the doors of State House.
However, some argued that the relocation of TNA to the building adjacent to State House was a political statement that indeed President Uhuru Kenyatta trusts his party and will use it to seek re-election come 2017, unlike his predecessor Mwai Kibaki, who dumped the party that sponsored him to power and came out on a different one.
TNA has been hopping from place to place looking for accommodation unlike its rival ODM, which has remained accommodated at Orange House, Kilimani.
