Friday October 24, 2014 - Bungoma Senator and CORD co-Principal, Moses Wetangula, has expressed confidence tthat he is the next President after Uhuru Kenyatta.

In an interview with a local daily, Wetangula said both former Prime Minister Raila Odinga and former Vice President Kalonzo Musyoka will step down for him and he will beat Uhuru/ Ruto in 2017 under CORD.

The Bungona Senator promised to run the country differently once he becomes President saying unlike Uhuru/ Ruto, his Government will include all the 42 tribes of Kenya and everyone will have an equal share of the national cake.

He called on Kenyans to support his Presidential bid for a better Kenya saying the current madness in the name of tribalism, where if the Cabinet Secretary is a Kikuyu, the Principal Secretary must be a Kalenjin and vice versa, will be a thing of the past.

“My Government will be an all inclusive one. I will treat communities of this country with dignity, respect and equity. You cannot run a country where two communities share the country. Look at the structure in the Cabinet; where the CS comes from Uhuru’s Kikuyu community, the PS comes from Ruto’s Kalenjin community and vice versa,” said Wetangula.

“In fact, I will appoint more Kikuyus and Kalenjins in my Government to show Kenyans that they made a grave mistake electing Uhuru/ Ruto in 2013,” he added.

Wetangula warned Uhuru/ Ruto to stop cheating Kenyans that there is still room for other communities to be appointed into the Jubilee Government because all the important slots are gone and were taken by Kikuyus and Kalenjins.
